Pyramid Scheme

$5.00

Drape yourself in luxury with this eye-catching shawl. Worked in two or three colors of sock yarn. The mosaic stitch pattern is simple to work as only one color is used at a time. A pop of a third color adds an extra layer of interest. Choose highly contrasting colors to show off those pyramids or similar colors for a more subtle effect.

Notes:

Pattern includes recommendations on where to break the yarn colors – this is simply a recommendation. If you wish to have less ends to weave in feel free to carry the unused colors up the side of the work.

To work the mosaic charts: Each row of the chart equals two rows of knitting using the same color (RS and WS). Start with the color shown on the first square of the chart. As you follow the chart across the row, knit those sts and slip the other sts. When slipping sts, slip purlwise with yarn in back on RS rows and with yarn in front on WS rows. Continue in this way switching colors every other row.
